We have released a big update of our app Arboreal Forest. We have rebuilt the whole measurement part from the ground with the latest technology available.

We also added some new features:

– A mini map that shows the position of the center, the border, the trees and the user. It is very useful in circular plots that sometimes is hard to orient your self in.

– Speak the species. The app know speak the latest species name that you have measured. It will avoid that you by mistake assign wrong species to a tree. 

– Measure a plot without border. If you want to measure a fixed plot or a plantation this is a good alternative. You could measure any tree that you want and enter the area manually afterwards. 

– Orient the local plot to north. You will see an arrow that points at north, you could adjust it if you want.
