How accurate is Arboreal Forest?

We have done a lot of tests during the years and want to share the best way to do it.

In this video we show how to evaluate the diameter, the height and the area estimations of the app.

We also share our own results in en excel file that you could download. This excel file could also be used as a template for your own tests.

How was the result we had? Pretty good if you ask.

The diameter had bias of 1.1 millimeter and a mean average error (MAE) of 3.88 %.

The height had a mean average error of 0.22 meters or 0.9 %

The area had a bias of 0.3 % and mean average error of 0.85 %
